Are WVT tours for you? Here are five reasons they might be!

Are you wondering if a trip with World Vegan Travel is for you?

We know how personal travel is, and how important it is to choose the right traveling companions, so we’ve put together this top 5 list for you to consider. You’ll be a perfect fit for a WVT trip if.

If you are considering a WVT trip, you are probably vegan or vegan-curious, and this is something you will have in common with your co-travelers. You can be yourself knowing that you don’t have to defend or explain your lifestyle. Nobody will ask where you get your protein or how you gave up cheese. If you choose a trip hosted by a vegan influencer (like Colleen Patrick-Goudreau), you will have the unique opportunity to get to know someone at the forefront of the vegan movement, which is pretty darn cool!

#1 You want to travel with like-minded people.

You can be yourself knowing that you don’t have to defend or explain your lifestyle. Nobody will ask where you get your protein or how you gave up cheese. #2 You want a break from the struggles that being vegan can bring.

Have you ever imagined a world that is completely vegan? Where the word vegan doesn’t exist because it doesn’t have to? Everyone eats a healthy, compassionate lifestyle free from animal products, exploitation, and cruelty — without having to constantly think about it? That’s what a WVT trip is like. It goes without saying that you’ll be living your vegan life, but you’ll be able to completely take time off from the challenges of being vegan! No need to negotiate in restaurants, read ingredient lists, or worry about whether the milk in your coffee is REALLY soy milk. Likewise, we will focus on visiting places where animals are treated as they should be. We know firsthand the challenges you face being vegan in your everyday world, and this will be a well-deserved break from that! Let the US take care of the details, for a change.

#3 You want to travel with like-minded people.

On WVT trips we focus on activities that are in line with vegan values and ethics. Our guests enjoy activities such as visits to animal sanctuaries or shelters, shopping at vegan boutiques, or learning how local vegan food or products are made! Each and every activity is carefully chosen and determined to be ethically sound and backed by compassion so you can enjoy it fully, knowing that you are supporting a great cause AND seeing something really special all in one go.

#4 You want to holiday carefree and in style.

  • The best transportation and accommodations in each of the locations we visit. This could mean a private pool in your Thailand beach villa, or the most stunning views in Khao Sok
  • All meals, all 100% vegan are included, and not just salad either! Full breakfast buffets with all the trimmings, fun lunches in local places and sumptuous feasts for dinner. Of course, there are always a few surprise snacks along the way and a glass of bubbly or two have been known to appear from time to time.
  • We make sure that whenever possible and practical, we get wifi for you on the buses that we use so you can keep your family and friends updated on all your happenings on your travels with us.
  • The level of communication that we give you leading up the the trip will fill you with confidence on what you are about to embark upon. We’ll have group chats to give you the opportunity to speak with us and ask us questions and you will have your own Facebook page so you can ask questions and connect with your travelers even before the trip.

Traveling in style doesn’t just mean staying in 5-star hotels and eating 5-course dinners, it means that you are constantly SPOILED!

“I needed this.” Mary CPG Thailand

#5 You want to connect and bond with other vegans

A theme of our trips, and one that surprised us in the beginning, is that many of our travelers become lifelong friends. Watching these friendships continue long after the trip has finished brings us so much joy!

“I felt immediately like I was with lifetime friends, people who care about this world and are truly influential.” Jeanna

Thanks for including me in your emails. There is much about what you represent that resonates with my soul but I am still a little skeptical.
If I was to join one of your trips (e.g. Thailand or Vietnam) I would most likely be flying solo but would not be keen on bunking up with anyone.. I trust this option is available but at what additional cost?

HI Graham! So sorry for the ENORMOUS delay in replying! Glad you are interested in our trips. A single supplement is always available, although it is an extra cost. You can find the price of this on the trip page.
