France

Why we love France

Seb is a native French speaker from Canada and has always been drawn to France.  Brighde – also a French speaker – worked here straight after graduation as an English conversation teacher and later led tours all over the country.

Together, we’ve travelled in France many times. Over the years, we’ve noticed it has become surprisingly vegan-friendly.  It still can’t yet compete with the likes of Berlin or Portland, but certain cities like Paris, Strasbourg, and Lyon have more vegan spots than you may expect. For a great vegan experience elsewhere in the country, WVT comes to the rescue.

Our accommodation ranges from cute cottages, relaxing villas, grand historic inns and even castles.  With us, you’ll experience vegan France at its most decadent.

Our trips go beyond the usual salad and french fries that are typically the only item available in French restaurants!   We ensure you can enjoy delicious, world-famous French cuisine across the country by working hard with our chefs, hotels and restaurants to perfectly render local specialties completely plant-based.  Check out the video below to see some example of what’s in store for you when you join us in France!
