The Adriatic is calling—are you ready to answer?
HAVE A LOOK AT OUR BOAT!
Note: this video is from our supplier and features non-vegan dishes… so you’ll need to image the amazing cuisine our chef will conjure up, all plant-based!
It was a meticulously maintained vessel, beautifully appointed in every way. The crew was extremely professional and on top of everything. They remembered the favorites of all on board….their favorite drinks and snacks, and even their preferred choices at breakfast. They made us feel so welcome and appreciated. We even had a massage therapist on board who treated us to the most relaxing massages! As all of the WVT trips have been, it was truly unforgettable!
WOW! WOW! WOW! This was our fourth trip with World Vegan Travel, and they continue to outdo themselves. Sailing in luxury accommodations on a gorgeous yacht with a group of delightful fellow travelers on the sparkling blue Adriatic Sea.. if there is a heaven, this is truly it. The food is divine. The crew is spectacular. The island activities and tours are varied, educational, relaxing, inspiring, surprising, and always fun. Do not let yourself miss out on this trip!
(World Vegan Travel) once again created a perfect itinerary that balanced organized activities (though everything is optional) — tours with local guides, hikes, wine and olive oil tastings, and a visit to an animal sanctuary, with just low-key fun on the boat — swimming, visiting the on-board masseuse, playing board games, and watching movies in the ship’s theatre. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought and intention into planning these trips. And they make sure to pull out some fun surprises too! In fact, midway through this trip, we booked our next World Vegan Travel trip!
We were on a boat! What could be better! A motor yacht in the Croatian coastal waters of the Adriatic is the best way to see this part of the world! The scenery was magnificent. The on-board accomodations were more than comfortable. The vegan food was fantastic. The crew was incomparable. The other guests were delightful. The shore excursions were were thoughtfully planned and educational. We’ll travel with World Vegan Travel anytime and anywhere!
This was our first trip with World Vegan Travel, and it was fantastic! It’s very impressive how many repeat guests there are – and with good reason. It’s not only the experience of sharing the adventure with like-minded people and the abundance of AMAZING vegan food, but the thoughtful planning, organization, local guides, and trip leaders Brighde and Seb make all the difference. The trip exceeded our expectations. We’ve now been spoiled and can’t imagine traveling with any other company.
This was our seventh World Vegan Travel trip. The yacht itself was wonderful — a great and friendly crew, spacious quarters, lots of public spaces, and excellent food. The itinerary for the trip was great and included popular islands like Brać and Hvar, as well as less touristy islands and plenty of fun “at sea”. As has been true of our prior WVT trips, all the planning and arrangements were well taken care, there were several nice surprises along the way, and the vegan food was uniformly delicious, both on board and at restaurants on the islands. Everything was included and first rate so no planning was required on our part except getting to the start of the trip and getting home from the end.
The luxury cruise in Croatia along the Dalmatian coast was truly a dream trip of a lifetime.. Every little thing was thought of with many wonderful surprises along the way. Everyday seemed almost magical. Seb and Brighde are very personable and made sure everyone was always enjoying themselves. They truly exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait for our next trip!
Our Croatia cruise stands out for its intimate setting on a smaller boat, ensuring a personalized experience. Unlike competitors, we include all excursions, activities, meals, and drinks in our all-inclusive package. Plus, we take care of crew tips, so you can relax and enjoy without any hidden costs. Leave your wallet in the cabin’s safe. You won’t need it!

The sign-up fee is non-refundable under any conditions UNLESS the trip is not confirmed by the deadline (see TRIP INFO). Please carefully read our cancellation policy section for more information.
In order to sign up, fill in the form on this page. Any problems or questions? Email us!
Please note that signing up before the deadline does not guarantee the trip will run as this depends on having the necessary minimum of participants.
SOLO ROOMS: unfortunately, we can’t accept any solo travelers (in a single cabin) at this moment. This may change so please send us an email with your interest so we may put you on a Solo Waiting List. Do note, if offered, solo rooms would come at a premium along the industry standards (trip price x up to ~80% single supplement).

We can work with you on a payment plan: pay your trip in the usual 2 installments, or opt for several. Contact us to discuss what works best for you!

Since our trips are highly catered and made of activities that need a lot of planning and organization, all payments (the initial sign-up fee, 50% deposit and final payment) are all non-refundable. This is because we must forward payments for accommodation, transportation, suppliers, etc. very early on, in order to privatize our accommodation, activities and our meals.
To see our booking terms and conditions you can click here. You will find the cancellation policy in section 9 and 10.
TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE – MANDATORY
All travelers must have travel insurance that covers emergency medical treatment and emergency evacuation. It is also prudent to purchase insurance to cover more. To learn more about buying insurance for a World Vegan Travel trip, read this blog post.
ITINERARY
The itinerary is therefore subject to change, especially if we find an experience that we believe would make the trip even better.
DIET RESTRICTION & ALLERGIES
If you have any specific dietary needs or food preferences, we kindly ask you to contact Brighde at [email protected] before finalizing your booking. Please provide her with detailed information about your dietary needs or preferences, and ensure you receive a written response from Brighde before finalizing your trip booking. Your cooperation and understanding in this matter are greatly appreciated.
Please note that any additional requests made after the booking has been completed might not be able to be accommodated.
At first glance, our pricing reflects a premium investment. However, when you compare this experience to standard commercial cruises, the value becomes immediately clear. We aren’t simply booking you a cabin on a crowded ship; we are privately chartering an entire luxury yacht to create a bespoke, 100% vegan floating oasis.
Here is what goes into the cost of your unforgettable voyage:
The “Wallet-Free” Guarantee: Standard cruises typically nickel-and-dime you with hidden costs for drink packages, shore excursions, and mandatory gratuities. We include everything. All gourmet meals, unlimited drinks, premium shore excursions, and all tips for the yacht crew, local guides, and drivers are covered. We even include extras like a curated amenities bag and complimentary laundry service.
An Intimate, Exclusive Experience: Our yacht features only 14 cabins, meaning we cap this journey at a maximum of 26 guests (plus your two full-time tour leaders). While larger ships divide their charter costs among 40+ passengers, they also sacrifice space and service. Our intimate group size guarantees an uncrowded, VIP experience where you never have to fight for a deck chair or the crew’s attention.
100% Vegan Peace of Mind: Executing a flawless, completely plant-based luxury yacht experience requires hundreds of hours of behind-the-scenes work. For months leading up to the trip, we work intimately with the yacht’s crew, local restaurants, and guides to educate them, custom-design menus, and vet every detail—down to the cruelty-free toiletries in your bathroom. You are paying for the ultimate luxury: zero anxiety about what you are eating or using.
Uncompromising Quality & Support: For many, sailing the Adriatic is a lifelong dream. We refuse to cut corners. By providing two dedicated, full-time tour leaders (most companies only provide one) and hand-picking the highest quality activities, every detail of this itinerary is designed to deliver the trip of a lifetime.
Due to the smaller size of our yacht, we are not offering solo rooms for the time being. Do check the trip information on this page as this could change at any moment.
FLIGHTS
You are in charge of your own transportation — whether it be flights, train, bus, car, etc. — to our starting city, and your return transportation from our departure city.
For your arrival, we ask that you try and arrive early on the first day, as our first meeting tends to be in mid-afternoon. This exact time and place will be confirmed at a later date, but do plan ahead adequately to leave you enough time to get to our meeting place by that time. Even better is arriving one or more days before. This would provide you with a chance to take care of jet-lag and visit the town.
Please note that your transportation to our first meeting point is not included.
VISAS & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (ETIAS) Croatia is a member of the Schengen Area. For citizens of most Western countries (including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK), a traditional visa is not required for stays of up to 90 days.
However, please note that the ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) will be fully implemented for this 2027 trip. This is a mandatory, quick online travel authorization required for all visa-exempt travelers entering the Schengen Area. You will need to apply for and receive your ETIAS approval online prior to your departure.
Citizens of the EU and Schengen member states do not need a visa or an ETIAS to enter Croatia.
TRAVEL/MEDICAL INSURANCE
Medical travel insurance is mandatory on our trip. We need to have assurances that you are fully covered in the event of a medical emergency, including repatriation. You will need to send us your policy detail and emergency contact number before the trip’s start date.
Trip Insurance (trip cancellation, lost baggage, etc.), on the other hand, is entirely up to you, though we highly recommend purchasing it. It often comes packaged along with medical travel insurance, or you may get coverage simply by paying for the trip using a credit card (inquire with your card supplier).
As we are not a travel agency or booking agents, we can’t book any flights or ongoing travel (ie hotels, transportation, etc) for you. However we can surely help with recommendations, suggestions and tips as you look into flights, or extending your holiday. It never hurts to ask, so don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries whatsoever!
In general, the end of August/early Septemberis an excellent time of year to visit the Dordogne valleys. The weather is almost always warm but not as hot as high summer, although it is slightly more changeable so the chance of rain is slightly higher. It is very rare and unfortunate for a holiday to be ruined by rain in these months, although early autumn showers may occur.
At this time, the countryside is more lush and the scenery even more beautiful, since the daylight is slightly less harsh than in the summer. It’s the perfect time for walking and cycling in the Dordogne, since the summer can be rather hot for these activities.
As a bonus, the huge summer crowds have mostly ebbed, and while far from being deserted, all the sights and towns will be much more manageable and, as such, be much more pleasant.
You should expect temperatures of no more than 25° (77.°F) and no lower than around 12° (53°F).
While we don’t have a luggage restriction on this trip, we recommend you not to bring more than 1 suitcase per person. You will need to carry your bags only from the bus to the hotel twice (plus the trip to our meeting place) but you should still make sure you can lift it by yourself (ie it’s not too heavy).
We do have one free laundry included on the trip, so hopefully this can help in not over-packing. Laundry will also be available on other days at a fee.
In terms of clothing, it’s a good idea to bring some late summer garb, such as shorts, t-shirts, etc., and a swimsuit, as we will have a swimming pool at our Dordogne hotel (and in case you want to go caneoing down the rivers).
Long and light cotton pants and shirts (or dresses) are a good idea. A hat is a good idea to block off the sun.
A sweater or light jacket for the cooler evenings is a good idea. Rain gear isn’t really needed, but a small umbrella could prove useful.
Do bring some comfortable, but sturdy, shoes, as we have many walking tours. The Dordogne villages are made for exploring, and often the streets are cobblestones. Overall we’re not going on any big hikes, so there’s no need to bring your best pair of hiking boots. You can always bring a 2nd set of comfy shoes/loafers to wear in the evening, for dinner and also afterwards when we’re relaxing with a nightcap.
Other essentials should include:
We will be sending an info packet several weeks before the trip that will include, amongst other bits of information, a packing list.
If you are coming from outside of Europe, then yes, your mobile phone should work, but do check with your carrier to make sure. It is highly recommended to turn off global roaming unless you carrier can offer you a package for your stay in France. Otherwise you risk being charged exorbitant fees upon you return home!
If you are a UK or other European citizen, your phone should work as usual as Europe no longer has borders when it comes to mobile phone usage. However do check with your carrier to ensure your package qualifies.
If your phone is unlocked (please check with your carrier directly) you can also purchase a European SIM Card from Amazon, and enjoy having a local number and much cheaper data (internet) usage. We recommend the 20GB Orange Holiday Europe SIM card. Please follow the instructions that come with the SIM as we do not offer support for this product.
Yes, our yacht has WIFI on-board.
We provide all accommodation, transportation and meals. All expenses during our included activities are taken care of, including tips for guides and drivers.
You will then only need cash for extra purchases such as souvenirs, extra drinks outside of what’s included, extra snacks, etc. There are ATMs in every town and credit cards are accepted in most places. This mostly means Visa and MasterCard, with American Express having quite a lower acceptance rate outside of hotels and higher-end restaurants.
The tour leaders will be carrying extra cash. If you decide to go on an optional activity at the last minute but don’t have enough money, we will be able to help you out and you can simply pay us back when we find an ATM.
Non-premium alcoholic drinks are included, especially during meals and down time.
Tipping hotel and restaurant staff is not necessary and entirely up to you.
We do have quite a lot of walking activities on this trip, though mostly this will be on flat surfaces in towns and villages. Some Dordogne villages are build near cliffs and hills, so expect a bit of uphill/downhill walking.
Youth above 16 years young are welcome. We are currently not accepting any younger children.
There’s no upper age limit, though do note that there is a fair amount of walking on this trip.
We will provide water, juice, coffee, tea, some cocktails and wine/beer during lunches and all dinners and some activities. We will make it clear what’s included and what’s not. Premium alcoholic drinks (ie expensive cognac, whiskey, champagne, etc) are not included. You can pay for those on the spot or sign it to the room and pay when checking out.
