Switzerland

Why we love Switzerland

Switzerland holds a special place in the hearts of the World Vegan Travel team.  Just a few months into our relationship, we decided to do a hiking trip spanning the entire country from east to west.  It took us two weeks (though some freak weather forced us into the valleys more often than we wanted to!) and it was an incredible trip.  It was in here that realized we made a great travel team and shared a love for mountains that eventually directed us to our current mountain home (in beautiful Squamish, BC!).

We’ve been back to Switzerland many times since that first trip and we still can’t get enough of the quaint cities, the stunning valleys, the incredible mountains, the efficient train system and plan coolness of everything Swiss!

Traveling in Switzerland is a dream. Incredible accommodations, world-class transportation, and that famous Swiss efficiency is really something to witness.

While Switzerland is becoming more vegan-friendly, the team at World Vegan Travel will be making sure that you will be experiencing ALL the Swiss specialties made vegan.  We’re talking fondue, raclette, bratwurst, Älplermagronen, and of course swiss chocolate made into incredible desserts.
