In the past 5 years or so, subscriptions from tea to snack to even underwear and everything in between have become immensely popular. Depending on how long the subscription lasts, it’s pretty good value and the gift that keeps on giving! Plus it’s a lot of fun to receive something in the mail every month!
The vegan world has embraced the subscription model and nowadays you have a lot of options to choose from! Below are our favorite.
For each box, we’ll talk a little bit about what’s included and the cost for the annual subscription. Of course, the longer the subscription, the better the value. You often can change the length of the subscription, and there are often many different choices and packages available that will alter the cost, so finding something at your budget shouldn’t be too difficult. Finally, many of these companies also offer one-off boxes as well.

Vegan Cuts, the original vegan subscription box, is now doing makeup! We love that each box is filled with seasonal colors and fits a theme which will allow you to make a beautiful and cohesive look.

Also from Vegan Cuts , The snack box was the first subscription that we ever had, back when we were living in Thailand. We anxiously awaited its arrival all each month and there was often a fight over the more converted snacks! At over 10 items, many from brands that were new to us, this was a great way to discover news products, flavors and tastes!

Finally, if pampering, skincare, eye balms and hand creams are your thing, then the Beauty Box is incredible value. Each box is usually at least double the value of the original price of each item! A much-loved gift for the tea-lover in your life. Each month you’ll get 4 premium teas chosen uniquely for you from over 150 different tea brands around the world. This comes to 15 cups of tea for the month and you’ll also get steeping notes, as well as in-depth information about the tea itself and any filters you might need. We love the tea survey that you can fill-in that ascertains your tea preferences.

The Houseplant Box

If you have ever walked around a plant nursery and just been unable to decide what plants to buy, let alone know how look after them, this might be the perfect subscription for you! Imagine a new house plant arriving through the mail every month along with a detailed care card. Easy!
Cost: from 14.99$ a month for a small household plant with a detailed care card so you can keep your latest plant baby in the best of health. 95$ a month for a large houseplant. There are even options for those that do not want to have to repot their plants!
Driftaway Coffee

All subscriptions start with a tasting kit, which is a collection of four 1 oz. bags of fresh, delicious, single origin coffees. Cost: 204$ per year for an 11 oz bag sent to you each month. You can also choose to have whole or ground beans, which are roasted every Sunday so they will always be as fresh as can be!

Each month you will enjoy vegan and cruelty-free skincare, make-up, hair-care and accessories and two full-sized products. We love that a portion of sales go to Evanna and Daniella’s favorite causes. The reviews for this box are very good and there are many of them.

We love this themed subscription box and that it offers a change from the beauty and snacks boxes. If you have a friend who loves all things spiritual, astrology and tie dye then this will be a very nice gift indeed. Each box has between 5 and 7 full-size products and the value is between $80 and $100. It include items from such categories as crystals, aromatherapy, apothecary beauty, spiritual growth tools, superfoods, snacks and tea!
