Now, I’m sharing the essential vegan kitchen tools that truly make cooking easier, faster, and a whole lot more fun.

Spatulas
These flexible silicone helpers make sure no cake batter goes to waste! Perfect for mixing sauces, scraping bowls, and even sneaking a taste before serving.

Turner
We love this one. It’s great for flipping vegan burgers or pancakes without scratching non-stick pans.

From whipping aquafaba to stirring pancake batter, every vegan kitchen needs a whisk (or two!). A small whisk is handy for flax eggs or dressings.
Tongs

Wooden Spoon
The quiet hero of every kitchen. Wooden spoons don’t conduct heat, making them ideal for stirring hot soups and sauces.
Chef’s Knife
Your most important tool! A sharp chef’s knife makes chopping veggies and fruit effortless. Choose one that feels balanced and comfortable in your hand.
Paring Knife
A paring knife is perfect for smaller tasks like peeling or trimming. You’ll appreciate it when prepping strawberries or de-seeding peppers.
Bread Knife
This bread knife is great for slicing crusty loaves — and even delicate cakes or tomatoes!
Knife Sharpener & Knife Block
Keep knives sharp and safe. A sharp knife is actually safer than a dull one because it requires less force. Store them neatly in a bamboo knife block or on a magnetic strip.
Chopping Board
One sturdy board is all you need — no meat cross-contamination here! We recommend bamboo or hardwood for durability.
Mixing Bowls
At least two mixing bowls are a must for baking or prepping ingredients. Bonus points if they have lids for easy storage.
Colander & Sieve
A colander is helpful to drain pasta, rinse veggies, or a sieve to sift dry ingredients — these two are small tools that make a big difference.
Measuring Cups & Spoons
Consistency is key to great cooking. Metal sets last longer, like these measuring cups, and measuring spoons which include a ⅛ teaspoon for precision.
Peeler
A sharp peeler makes quick work of potatoes and carrots — and saves you from wasting food.
Masher or Potato Ricer
Mash fluffy potatoes or smooth out pumpkin purée. A ricer gives that extra-smooth texture if you love your mash lump-free!
Cast Iron Skillet
Durable, chemical-free, and oven-safe — this is a vegan cooking essential. Perfect for tofu steaks, roasted veggies, or one-pan meals.
Frying Pan & Saucepan Set
A good non-stick pan (without Teflon) and a few sturdy saucepans are the backbone of your cooking setup.
Baking Dishes & Muffin Trays
Essential for lasagnas, roasted veggies, or cupcakes. Stainless steel muffin trays or a ceramic baking dish options last for years.
Dutch Oven
Great for soups, stews, and even homemade bread. Look for one that can handle high oven temperatures like this one.
